GREENWICH, CONN., FEBRUARY 5, 2021 – Five new attorneys recently joined
Gilbride, Tusa, Last & Spellane, LLC across its various practice areas. The attorneys –
Lorraine Slavin, E. Parker Neave, Brooke E. Marcogliese-Debany, Nathan P. Pereira
and Morgan E. Crabtree – serve to expand the veteran Greenwich firm’s reach within
the tri-state area and beyond. A member of the Greenwich community for more than 38
years, the firm specializes in all aspects of commercial and residential real estate, trust
and estate planning and administration, corporate and business law, aviation law,
employment law, intellectual property, and tax planning and disputes.

Lorraine Slavin was named Partner and practices in the area of residential real estate.
She was previously a partner in the Greenwich office of Day Pitney for 18 years. Slavin
brings more than 25 years of extensive experience negotiating purchase and sales
agreements, analyzing title issues, reviewing property surveys, negotiating construction
contracts and architect agreements, and completing closings for purchasers and sellers.
E. Parker Neave was named Partner and advises individuals and families on the
techniques available to preserve and transfer wealth and achieve the client’s
testamentary objectives. He provides counsel on all matters relating to probate and the
orderly administration and accounting of trust and estate assets and advises several
institutional banks in their fiduciary capacities as executor and trustee in New York and
Connecticut. He was previously a partner in the New York City office of Putney,
Twombly, Hall & Hirson LLP and has more than 25 years of experience concentrating
on estate and trust planning, estate and trust administration, not-for-profit corporations
and residential real estate.
Brooke E. Marcogliese-Debany joins the firm as Senior Counsel and formerly served
in that capacity with the Greenwich office of Day Pitney. She practices in the Private
Clients Group and has extensive experience representing lenders and high net worth
individuals in connection with a wide variety of residential real estate transactions,
including leasing, financing, selling, purchasing, developments and construction.
Nathan P. Pereira joins the firm as Senior Counsel in the firm’s business and corporate
department. He advises private companies on risk management, corporate governance
and employment matters as well as business owners in their confidential matters. He
concentrates his practice in the areas of employment law, intellectual property law,
business mergers and acquisitions, private equity financing including private placement
offerings, representation of investment advisors and broker/dealers and entity
selection. Additionally, he leverages his past experience as a director of an international
art gallery in representing galleries, artists, art foundations and art brokers.
Morgan E. Crabtree joins the firm as an associate in the Firm’s Private Clients Group
concentrating in estate planning, estate administration and tax planning. Crabtree has
experience in non-profit formation and works extensively with several private charitable
foundations. A Greenwich native, she is a recent graduate of Quinnipiac University
School of Law, magna cum laude, with a concentration in taxation.
