Mr. Sandler is Senior Tax Counsel for GTLS, practicing in the firm’s Individual Client’s Group. He concentrates his practice in a variety of areas including estate planning and probate practice, tax, corporate and other matters. Specifically, Mr. Sandler reviews and drafts estate planning documents; advises clients in connection with trust and estate administration and post-mortem tax planning; and advises clients in connection with lifetime gifting and medicaid planning.
Mr. Sandler also assists clients with a variety of tax matters including: representation in connection with federal and state income, business, estate and gift tax audits; negotiating installment agreements and offers-in-compromise of tax liabilities and preparing private letter rulings.
In the area of corporate matters, Mr. Sandler has experience in the review, structuring and preparation of documents in connection with limited liability companies, private foundations and charitable trusts.
