Nathan P. Pereira

Nathan P. Pereira is a part of the Firm’s business and commercial department. He counsels private companies with risk management, corporate governance and employment matters as well as business owners in their confidential matters. He concentrates his practice in the areas of employment law, intellectual property law including trademarks and copyrights, business mergers and acquisitions, private equity financing including private placement offerings, representation of investment advisors and broker/dealers and entity selection. Additionally, he leverages his past
experience as a director of an international art gallery in representing galleries, artists, art foundations and art brokers.

When a client is involved in a dispute I use practical experience and judgment to help my clients understand the challenges they face, with attention to costs and knowledge of litigation and its alternatives. When a client is in need of a negotiator, I start with the understanding the negotiation is a process as well as a result. This protocol allows for me to likely achieve better terms for my clients as well as result in fewer post execution disputes. I provide services for a wide variety of financial service firms, their employees and principals. I provide regulatory and compliance advice and representation in connection with inquiries from their regulators. I provide services to the arts community representing artists, collectors, galleries, auction houses, appraisers, and art-brokers. I provide services ranging from contract drafting and negotiations, to estate planning and litigation. I endeavor to help my clients succeed and achieve their goals whether in the personal or business spheres.
