David Del Prete

David Del Prete is an Associate practicing in the firm’s Corporate and Business Law Group and focuses on mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, general corporate governance, and securities regulation.

David earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut School of Law. During law school, he was actively involved with the International Refugee Assistance Project, assisting Afghan families seeking humanitarian parole and later serving on the UConn Law chapter’s Executive Board. He also supported faculty research on the Facebook Oversight Board and its connection to international human rights law. In his final semester, David participated in the New York Pro Bono Scholars Program, completing his field placement at Disability Rights Connecticut, where he assisted clients with disabilities across a range of legal issues.

Before law school, David worked at UBS, where he focused on leveraged loan transactions. During and after law school, he served as a law clerk at Pastore LLC, Clarkson Law Firm P.C., and Silver Golub & Teitell LLP, gaining experience in both corporate and complex commercial matters.

Outside of the office, David enjoys watching the New York Rangers, skiing in Vermont, and playing guitar. His diverse legal experience and dedication to client service make him a valued member of the GTLS team.
