Mr. Gilbride is the head of and responsible for guiding the firm’s Private Clients Group. His practice is focused primarily on wealth preservation, trust and estate planning and administration, probate law and estate and gift taxation, private family foundations, the representation of high net worth clients in residential financing, sale and purchase transactions and maritime matters. Mr. Gilbride has maintained an “AV” peer review rating by Martindale-Hubbell® for over 40 years.

He is a lifetime member of the Maritime Law Association of the United States and served on the Maritime Law Association’s Shipbuilding Contracts Committee. He belongs to the American, Connecticut, Fairfield County and Greenwich Bar Associations. He was recognized as the Honorable Robert J. Callahan distinguished Alumnus of the Year by the Connecticut Chapter of the Fordham Law School Alumni Association in 2011.

Mr. Gilbride served in the Connecticut Army National Guard. He formerly served on the boards and loan committees of several Connecticut community banks, and on the Advisory Board of First American Title Insurance Company, the Advisory Board of the YMCA of Greenwich, on the Planned Giving Professional Advisory Committee of Americares Foundation, and as Chairman of the Leadership and Professional Divisions of the Greenwich United Way. He is a former Trustee and Secretary of the Greenwich Hospital Board of Trustees. He is a former Governor of and has served on the executive, legal and other committees of the Greenwich Country Club. Currently he serves as a Director of and Counsel for the Northeast Greenwich Association, Inc. He is the President of the Kurzrok Foundation of Greenwich and is a Director of and Counsel for other private family foundations. He is a Trustee of Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church of Greenwich and has served on the Parish Council, as Chairman of the Parish Pastoral Task Force, and on the Parish Finance Committee. Mr. Gilbride is also an affiliate member of The Greenwich Board of Realtors.
