Jason is an Associate in the firm’s business and commercial department. He counsels emerging and established companies on a wide range of corporate and other transactional matters, including financings, mergers, acquisitions and other strategic transactions, negotiation and documentation of contracts, leases and agreements, trademark clearance and protection, and corporate formation, planning and governance. 

Prior to joining GTLS, Jason was a solo practitioner in neighboring Bedford, New York where he advised entrepreneurs, investors and lenders with all aspects of their business, from formation to exit strategy. Previously, he was a Senior Associate at Skadden, Arps where he represented public and private companies and their principal stakeholders in troubled M&A, financing, complex reorganizations, and related litigation. Jason began his legal career as a federal law clerk for the Honorable Jerome Feller, United States Bankruptcy Judge, Eastern District of New York.
